Born in the Philippines, Daniel Santos made an early move to Australia, where he grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney. He pursued his passion for Chemistry and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from UNSW Sydney. He completed his M.S. (Research) degree in September 2025 under the supervision of Dr DJ. Kim and commenced his PhD studies the following month.
